Request For Quote
The Pricing Request Entity is used to request a quote on a purchase or service in the system.
Creating a Pricing Request is similar to creating a Spend Request. Many of the same fields and selections need to be populated. This is very useful since you can create a Spend Request from a completed Pricing Request and the fields will automatically populate.
The customer may choose to self-manage the RFQs or have Prorizon manage them.
Request for Quotation Features:
- Simplified Free Form data entry
- With a few keystrokes an RFQ can be turned into a Spend Request to be routed for approval
- RFQs may be sent automatically to someone in-house, to Prorizon or to the vendor for completion
- Every entity utilizes your company's G/L account structure, material group codes, charge codes and logos
- RFQs may be requested from an unlimited number of vendors
- Any Spend Requests created from an RFQ are cross-referenced back to the originating RFQ
